The skills development initiatives have a dual focus on enhancing the financial and social empowerment of vulnerable women. The overarching goal is to positively impact entire families through the economic independence of women. The projects concentrate on providing support and empowerment to women through various means.

In the year 2022, a total of 158 women successfully underwent comprehensive training in diverse skill sets, including but not limited to beautician services, tailoring, cooking, driving, air conditioning, and fridge repairing. Beyond skill acquisition, the training programs incorporate an essential component that educates women about their rights and entitlements. Moreover, the projects extend support and counselling services to help women cope with instances of abuse and oppression, fostering the development of self-esteem and self-confidence.

Recognizing the importance of understanding the broader context of women's lives, the projects include regular home visits to engage with trainees and their families. These visits serve as a platform to discuss individual situations, gather and verify information, and provide counseling to family members. The aim is to secure familial support for the trainees' active participation in the skills training.

Additionally, the initiatives go beyond skills training by assisting all trainees in opening bank accounts. The training curriculum encompasses essential entrepreneurial skills, customer interactions, and financial management. This holistic approach strives to instil self-reliance and empowerment in the trainees, ensuring that they are equipped not only with valuable skills but also with the knowledge and confidence needed to navigate the realms of entrepreneurship and financial independence.
